Live in the moment, I mean just LIVE

Everyone has felt overwhelmed at some point by the phrase "live in the present." But what does it really mean?

It’s about romanticizing everyday moments. Being aware that the elements and situations that are part of our current routine won't be there in the future, and we'll miss them...

What do we want to be when we are older? -We ask ourselves this, perhaps after a long conversation with a family member. Without realizing it, you’ve reached the age where you imagined you would have accomplished so much. You look back, and all those plans you had for that past present were for a future that, without noticing, has also become part of your past. All because you weren’t aware that you were already living in the moment you so eagerly planned for, and now, once again, it’s just part of the past.

We get stuck in future plans and held back by the past, reliving situations over and over, either to prevent them from happening again or, on the contrary, to recreate them in a similar way. That takes the joy out of living. You have to try to enjoy the small, unexpected things that happen in your daily life because those are moments that make up the future.

Accepting who you are and where you are in each stage of life is one of the most crucial steps toward moving forward. You are always exactly where you’re supposed to be—I promise.

We need to be mindful and fully experience the present, as everything else simply doesn't exist.
